What is Macro Calculator?
A macronutrient calculator converts a calorie target and percentage split into grams of protein, carbohydrate, and fat. It does not determine how many calories or which split a person should consume.
The implementation uses the conventional energy values of 4 calories per gram for protein, 4 for carbohydrate, and 9 for fat. The three percentages must total 100% within a small numerical tolerance.
